Investor's Edge

Global Asset Allocation (GLOBAA)

GLOBAA is one of the first actively managed worldwide portfolio creation and maintenance computer programs using a security database that includes Exchange Traded Funds, American Depository Receipts, liquid Open-End Mutual Funds, and Closed-End Funds. Our latest version, Model 3, gives the User the option to choose which fund type(s) are used to create portfolios and includes the provision to include commissions and fees in units of basis points.

GLOBAA accesses two databases for 31 developed countries having computerized stock markets.  The first database is comprised of macro-economic and stock market index data.  The second database is the quarterly performance of all country specific securities.  These two databases date back to quarter four 1993.  GLOBAA chooses attractive securities for each of the seven world regions according to proprietary algorithms.  Model verification and its "figure of merit" was determined by running historical performance calculations.
